Contractiv8 is an information and education service provided by Performance Driven Digital Limited. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal services. Using Contractiv8 does not create a solicitor-client relationship. The information it provides is general, automated, and may not identify every risk or apply to your specific circumstances. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified legal professional, and you should not rely on it as such. You remain solely responsible for any decision about any contract.
Contractiv8 helps you understand what a contract says and which clauses may carry commercial risk, in plain English. It is a rules-based tool that surfaces information and questions to consider. It does not give legal advice, does not tell you whether to sign, and does not replace a qualified solicitor. For important or high-value contracts, please take professional legal advice.
Using Contractiv8 does not create a solicitor-client relationship between you and Performance Driven Digital Limited. We are not your legal representatives and we do not act on your behalf.
Contractiv8 checks your uploaded contract against a human-maintained library of creator-specific clause patterns, covering a range of risk areas relevant to creator and sponsorship agreements, and explains what it finds in plain English. The current coverage is described on our website.
The analysis is a diagnostic check against common clause patterns. It is not a full legal review of your contract, it does not cover every possible issue, and it may not apply to your particular situation. Some contracts fall outside what the Service is designed to review, and where that happens we will tell you.
Your contract is analysed by deterministic, rules-based pattern matching, not by artificial intelligence. It is never processed by a large language model, never used to train any model, and never leaves our secured database.
Because the analysis is general and automated, it may miss issues, or flag clauses that are acceptable in context. We do not guarantee that our explanations are complete, current, or free from error. You should always review important agreements with a qualified professional before you sign.
You are solely responsible for your own contracting decisions and for how you use the information the Service provides. You must also have the right to upload and analyse any contract you submit, for example because it is your contract or you have permission to share it.
Our guidance is written for agreements governed by the law of England and Wales. Contracts governed by the law of another jurisdiction may be treated differently, and the Service may not reflect those differences.
